oh jeez oh geez. superpal mick legrande is sharing the first piece of the new set he captured from the troubadour in july. here’s a heavy vocal replaying of “sleep tight and sweet dreams”, a tune that on happiness only real when shared samples de la soul’s “eye know”. the initial guitar loop was recorded on jordan lee of mutual benefit’s acoustic guitar before we played at the metro gallery in baltimore together, and i take that loop with me everywhere i go now. thanks to the homies for makin’ it such a special experience, and thanks to emily for being such a darlin’ inspiration.
